Mathematical derivation of a rubber-like stored energy functional

چکیده
In this note, we consider a stochastic network of interacting points to which we associate an energy. We study the variational convergence of such an energy when the typical distance of the network goes to zero. We prove that the limit energy can be written as an integral functional, whose energy density is deterministic, hyperelastic and frame-invariant. This derivation allows us in particular to obtain a continuous energy density associated to cross-linked polymer networks. To cite this article: A. Name1, A. Name2, C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. Sci. Paris, Ser. I 340 (2005).

Lie triple derivation algebra of Virasoro-like algebra
Let $mathfrak{L}$ be the Virasoro-like algebra and $mathfrak{g}$ itsderived algebra, respectively. We investigate the structure of the Lie triplederivation algebra of $mathfrak{L}$ and $mathfrak{g}$. We provethat they are both isomorphic to $mathfrak{L}$, which provides twoexamples of invariance under triple derivation.
متن کاملCenter--like subsets in rings with derivations or epimorphisms
We introduce center-like subsets Z*(R,f), Z**(R,f) and Z1(R,f), where R is a ring and f is a map from R to R. For f a derivation or a non-identity epimorphism and R a suitably-chosen prime or semiprime ring, we prove that these sets coincide with the center of R.
متن کاملQuasiconvex envelopes in nonlinear elasticity
We give several examples of modeling in nonlinear elasticity where a quasiconvexification procedure is needed. We first recall that the three-dimensional Saint Venant-Kirchhoff energy fails to be quasiconvex and that its quasiconvex envelope can be obtained by means of careful computations. Second, we turn to the mathematical derivation of slender structure models: an asymptotic procedure using...

Problem statement: This study reviewed the needs of different constitutive models for rubber like material undergone large elastic deformation. The constitutive models are widely used in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) packages for rubber components. Most of the starting point for modeling of various kinds of elastomer is a strain energy function. In order to define the hyperelastic material beha...

Chemical hardness () and absolute electronegativity () have important applications in chemistry. Inthe conceptual Density Functional theory (DFT), these concepts has been associated with electronicenergy and the relationship with ionization energy (I) and electron affinity (A) of these concepts hasbeen given. In this study, graphical method was used in order to see the relationship with the ato...
